Shri Praveen Kumar
is a former International Player. He is a AITA Level 1
qualified and USPTR Coach. He works with advance and
mini tournament group. He has Played second division
league in Germany with three years coaching
experience. On behalf of the President, Vice president
and the Members of the Managing Council I have great
pleasure in presenting the report of the Association. |

Felicitation of Shri R. K. Khanna and Shri. Ramesh
Desai |
|
|
It was a
great honor for MSLTA to get the opportunity to be the
first association to felicitate Padmashree
Padmabhudhan Shri. R.K.Khanna, President of All India
Tennis Association and Shri Ramesh Desai, Hon.
Secretary General of AITA for their contribution
forwards development and promotion of the game of
tennis in India. The felicitation function was held,
on the occasion of AITA Executive Committee Meeting
and Extra Ordinary General Meeting, at MSLTA on 26th
August 2000. |

All
India Tennis Association (AITA) Sponsored Coaching
Scheme : |
|
|
|
The AITA
sponsored scheme at MSLTA continues with a new format
in which only 50% expense is sponsored by AITA while
the other 50% is taken care of by MSLTA. Shri Praveen Kumar, is coaching this group. Rohan Gajjar, Sonal
Phadke, Megha Vakharia and Liza Pereira were the
players selected for this scheme. These players fared
extremely well in the AITA as well as ITF Tournaments. |

Advance
Coaching Scheme : |
|
|
|
This
group consists of Players who are successfully
performing at State and National level. Shri Praveen
Kumar, National Ranked Player
imparts training to this group. There are 25 trainees
in this scheme and they have been performing well in
the state and National Tournaments. |

|
|
|
|
|
c) |
Mini
Tournament Group : |
|
|
|
This is
a group of selected trainees trained by shri Praveen
kumar who have the potential to
perform better and have the talent to come up at a
National and International level. There are 20
trainees in this scheme. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
d) |
Regular
Coaching : |
|
|
|
Aim of
this scheme is to introduce tennis to youngsters,
college students, and adults. There are about 350
trainees in this group. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
